Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about shopping with Sorry State Records.
How do you ensure vinyl records aren't damaged during shipping?
We use heavy-duty, corrugated cardboard mailers specifically designed for vinyl records. For extra protection, we often remove the record from its outer sleeve to prevent seam splits during transit, unless the item is factory sealed.
What is your return policy for defective items?
If you receive a record that is warped or has significant manufacturing defects, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We offer replacements or full refunds for verified defective merchandise.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your location. Please note that customers are responsible for any local customs fees or import taxes.
How do you grade the condition of used records?
We use the industry-standard Goldmine Grading System. Each used record is visually inspected and, in many cases, play-tested to ensure the grade accurately reflects the audio quality and physical condition.
Can I add items to an existing order that hasn't shipped yet?
If your order has not yet been processed for shipping, we can usually add items to it. Please email us immediately with your order number and the items you wish to add so we can combine shipping.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for a secure and fast checkout experience.
